PRACTICE DESCRIPTION
Dr. Gonzalez joined the Westwood Dermatology Group in 2009. She practices general dermatology and treats patients of all ages. Her clinical focus includes Laser Hair Removal- Palomar Vectus.
Laser, Sclerotherapy – Leg Spider Veins, Chemical Peels – Treatment for Aging, Hyperpigmentation, Rosacea / Sensitive Skin & Acne, Total body scans to detect cancerous and precancerous lesions, Skin Cancer Excisions, Phototherapy (narrowband UVB), Acne, Eczema, and Warts.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Dr. Gonzalez is a fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology and a staff member at Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center. She has authored several medical journal articles on dermatological disease.
EDUCATION
After graduating with distinction from The University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her B.A. degree in Biology and Psychology, Dr. Gonzalez received her M.D. degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School. She graduated at the top of her class and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Medical Center. She returned to The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School to complete her residency in Dermatology and was named chief resident during her final year. Dr. Gonzalez is Board Certified in Dermatology.
